Wolfes Landing Guest Book

To sum Wolfes Landing up in one word - FANTASTIC. Set in a clearing in the middle of natural bush, one could not ask for a more tranquil setting in which to relax. Quiet broken only by the sound of birds allows one to unwind from the stresses of the city and work. Looking over the estuary from the top balcony in the early evening is a great experience. The house is beautiful with an open plan living area. Lovely to sit at night with a fire burning in the wood heater. The house is newly renovated with a great modern kitchen which allows one to self cater very nicely. The upstairs main bedroom with its own sitting room and balcony is pleasant and it is nice to wake up looking out over the bush. With huge windows all around you feel like you are in the bush even when sitting indoors. The bush surroundings makes for a great deal of privacy. Taking a walk around the property is great experience for anyone who loves the bush and sitting at night listening to the wildlife grazing on the lawns is wonderful.

We loved the place so much we have already booked our next stay!!

Hi John,
Many thanks for the stay at Wolfe's Landing on Wednesday night, it was magnificent and my guests completely enjoyed it. I think the only thing they didn't enjoy was the noise... the noise being my snoring, he he. I really think you are going to have no problems at all with renting it out for holidays, it's absolutely great.

What a lovely setting by the Inlet. The kids especially enjoyed the freedom and the bush. Don't change anything please.

Wolfes Landing
When running away from home it is not the running that counts for us but the away; so when I found the web site for Wolfes Landing we were excited.
A mere 30k's travel found us completely away from everything and everyone. Five mothers alone in the bush in a stunning house on the edge of a lake-perfect. Being the end of summer we were not surprised to find the water level in the lake quite low . While canoeing over it would have been lovely we were lucky enough to be able to walk over it..a totally different and rather wonderful thing to do-the silence was broken only by the sound of the birds and the camera. The house itself is great; fantastic stone work and the biggest fire we had ever seen. We are looking forward to a winter stay there, when we can just snuggle inside with books and chocolate.

Hope all is well, we greatly enjoyed our stay at Wolfes Landing taking in the wonderful location, view and all the facilities. Even the drive in/out became a bit of an adventure after some heavy rain on the track!

Just a quick email to say thanks and let you know we had a wonderful stay at Wolfs Landing. We stayed 5 days and it was so relaxing with all the comforts of home. The fire was fantastic (as it was cold out) the walks were great and the noise from the wildlife at night (birds and frogs) were hilarious, even had a brief visit from a bat. We will make sure we bring our kayaks next time as the water on the inlet was so calm and still.

Hello John & Valerie
well back at work today and our holiday seems like a wonderful dream, it was very hard to leave the peace and quiet.
The weather was very kind to us,the first 4 days were nice and warm ,so we had a great time on the beach.
Caught some herring , the girls (dogs Lara & Tazz) got to go swimming and we all worked off a few pounds
walking on the beach and up the hill (Lara is old so she had the joy of being carried)
Then we had some lovely rains, the bush smelt so good, lots of birds singing and heaps of kangaroos.
We had a friendly lizard visit, ran around the house sussing us all and pinched a dog biscuit on the way out.
The little bat flew around just about every night.
We would love to come back in the spring to see the wild flowers and the inlet full of water
.
Kind regards
Donna & George

We had a great stay at the eco lodge. The place is big enough for a few more people, but we loved the windows, porch, and the wildlife.

We loved this house, everything was a dream. Kitchen to cook great meals,Fireplace to keep us warm,Fox to watch a movie, beach 10 mins away .. and then to wake in the morning to total bliss of nature.

Wolfes landing was recommended to us by friends who had stayed there. Once there you have total seclusion. Very rustic & cosy. Nice big TV with a great fire. BBQ on big verandah and plenty of kangaroos. The house is well stocked and plenty of instructions. A nice place to relax. No problems with return of bond etc.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The location is amazing! We loved the bushwalks, the chip n putt golf and the boys were happy as soon as they saw the tyre swing. It was so well appointed with little touches like binoculars for bird watching. The kids loved checking the rain gauge and looking out over the inlet from the balcony to spot kangaroos.
Thanks for a great relaxing stay.
